:( Crappy & stressful halloween week.. October 25, 2007

 

Halloween is approaching and i have been invited to go to Discovery bar where i have to dress up in costume. oh i had bought a devil costume, i bet u guys r laughing out there ..i suppose to dress up as a correction officer but i couldn’t find the right size (u know lah those american size cannot fit little Asian girl like me) . so, end up i bcome devil… well, thinking abt it i dont even have to wear the devil costume , i m a devil by nature..hahah

I feel crappy and stressful this whole week..why ? well it is all becoz i have to sit for so many tests…the driving test , the english test and i dunno how many crappy tests r coming up..Well i remember when i was in malaysia i always nag and grumble about work life’s and now i realized working is much more easier…i guess the grass is always greener on the other side..

i finally understand what it means by “one must travel far to know what self is”… ……  at this moment i miss my life’s in malaysia more than ever..

Sexy pianists @ Piano bar downtown little rock October 11, 2007

Last Fri Alex and I hit the piano bar at downtown of little rock. It was a cool bar with 2 cute talented pianist. I love the bar but i dont really fancy abt the setting of the bar. The bar was kind of weird to me as everyone were sitting n drinking at those dining table. It looks more like a diners setting than bar. I don’t see any party animals there, only bear drinkers. Anyway they do serve cool drinks, it was my first time tried the jello-liquer in a needle shot. The last time I had it was in one of the bar in Singapore but that was a margarita ject shot. Oh i should have keep some needles stock from my previous job and used it for margarita shot at home. haha

After couple of drinks n shots, we headed home . well I would said this piano bar was good  for chilling out but definitely not for booty shaking .This fri we gonna hit discovery bar with a few new friends, rumors said that discovery was a drag queens bar. Good, i love gay bar after all.

finally set foot @ little rock aka retirement town.. October 11, 2007

Finally i m in little rock aka the new retirement town. I know i should hav updated my blog when i arrived, but dam i was pretty busy last week. Thanks sam for reminded me to update.lol. I am such a freaking lazy couch potato.

Last week was a one hell of fucking hectic week, lots of dinner meet up and shopping to do . The new apartment was not fully furnish so i gotta shop from groceries to furnitures. oh sok fun u cannot believe this , i got the same sofa we used to have (i miss our good ol’ time getting warm n hot on the couch haha) Oh well, the apartment was very peaceful and serenity, though b4 we arrived i was expecting our unit facing the lake but geez it was facing the forest. No big deal coz as long as not it is not facing the neighbours then its ok coz’ i do not want any tom peeping. Well i love the balcony view especially now is fall season, the trees leafs changed colors and the whole place smells refreshing. Everyday when i wake up in the morning, i watched the birds chirps and squirells running and jumping around . The lake is just across our unit, i pass by the lake everytime when i go to the gym.

Basically this a very laid back town, people r friendly and there r no traffic here. The drivers r slow . Oh i think i fit well in this comunity as i m laid back aka lazy. I m planning an early retirement.

Third day in LA- scream my lung out at universal studio.. October 5, 2007

   

26th sept ‘07 Third day in LA @ universal studio..

I had the best breakfast this morning at original pancake house. I think my size will expand from XS to XL soon because the food here is dam tasty. Maybe because i m a bread person so american foods r just right for me. Hell , all the portions are big, I cant even finish everthing. I had the best apple cinnamon pancake and believe me when it say for one means it is for three.lol

As usual the traffic in LA sucks and guess what I beginning to get used to it . Our destination for the day is universal studio.

  

Upon entering the building, I am extremely impress with the interior designs of teach of he shops . Every shop has a different theme and they sell different kind of souveniors  , oh I cannot believe eyes that my hello kitty shop is here too. I am such a kitty freak.

This place is huge and there are so many rides. Those rides r all design according to each different movies. I rides on so many heartpounding rides that I almost piss. However the best and most wild ride would be the revenge of the mummy ride. It was a roller coaster that scream through the darkness and best of all it went forwards and backwards, I scream my lung out and it blow me off. Alex make me ride twice on it.

I had always hated 3D movie because I think it is lame. I changed my mind after I watched the Shrek4D ,  this one was an amazing experience. I feel the action right from my seat and it is unbelieveable when the donkey sneeze the seat is wet too. Ohhh..it is so dramatic. I am lost in the movie.

I wanted to see how the special effects for universal’s biggest movie were made , so alex and me went to check out the special effects stages. It was a one hell of hilarious and intellectual experience, guess what.. I was in the movie with eddie Murphy. When they ask for volunteer , alex pointed me out and I m not sure what to expect. Next thing I know they have capture me and edited my pic in Nutty professor movie. The 30 mins show was hilarious. I learn some tricks of editing there.

Next ride was the most popular ride the jurassic park ride. It was a raft trip through lush dinasours habitats harbouring life like real and there was a 8 feet plunge down a long fast , steep water descent. I was all wet but fun.

Even though I am tired, exhilarating, nausea but I never get enough of universal studio. I took so many pics yet it is still not enough. My camera battery went death, I regretted that I did not have extra batteries.

I am beginning to fall in love with LA..

Second day in LA – hollywood October 1, 2007

25/09/07 second day in LA- Hollywood.

The traffic in the morning in LA is a disaster. It took us 45 mins from Anaheim to Hollywood, which without traffic is probably 20 mins. I wonder why they call LA as city of Angels, at this moment I can only see hell.

Upon arrive Hollywood, alex and me we walk our way to walk of fame. We took a stroll along the Hollywood boulverd, there r so many shops to check out. If u r into tattoo and kinky sex I think this is the right place , every corner I found a tattoo shop and a sex shop. Oh not to mention most pass by walker seems to have at least one tattoo, I have tattoo at least I don’t feel out of place. I don’t know what kinky shops gotta do with Hollywood, it seems everywhere is selling kinky clothes. Mayb they r many drag queens around. It feels like downtown but I like the vintage design of the shops. It makes me feel like rodeo drive. The kinky shop is not bad too, they sell all sorf of uniforms. I fancy the policewomen uniform..i wonder if my gofren shirly has one when she work with the force. LOL .

As I stroll along , I found destiny child stars at walk of fame. oh I love beyonce but I don’t see her name around. I must say it tooks me whole afternoon checking out the stars and shops.  Harley Davidson shop around the corner, since I couldn’t afford the harley I bought a jacket for myself. I have always wanted a jacket like this but couldn’t find it in Malaysia.Finally I understand the meaning of city of angels..it is a paradise for shopaholic like me. I feel like an angel now. lol. Well of course there is some historical and popular places like kodak theatre , wax museum and guiness world of record. The kodak theatre is cool, the rest i did not check it out as i m not so much into monument and museums, those places bored me.

After a long day, we took a break at one the al fresco café. Guess who I met there? OH Johnny depp is there too….i have a thing for bad guy… Those in hollywood r always looking good, they dressed up like dolls, the walk like celebrities..i just love to watch the gorgeous looking plp. Called me vain but i think i m very much a uptown girl.

Before the day end, we took a walk to the rich and bling bling neighbourhood of hollywood.The neighbourhood of Hollywood is so glamorous, if u have the cash to show around you should get a place in Hollywood. Let says, stay at an exotic house, get a convertible car and if u r single get a blonde ass. However if u cant afford of all those bling u can check yourself into the Hollywood Retirement Home. Lol.. 

City of Angels-  U feel like an angel if u r living in hollywood extra luxury lifestyle..show me the bling..
