End of 2007 Journey.. December 30, 2007

 

Santa had probably went back to north pole but my Xmas tree is still up.It is only few days left before we enter 2008. Happy New Yr to all.

As usual I dont make new year resolution b’coz I believe to live life as it goes. I hold on to the quote as boogy like no one is watching love like u never been in love and live as though it is the last day.

Lets take a road trip to the past..share some memories and love..

My 2007 life journey:

The outbreaks: its a dream comes true moved to my own apartment which near to a lake and less than a year move again to United States to a cowboy place.

The drawbacks:I have a record of can’t seems to settle at a place more than a year, I have been moving all year long.

Worse still : fully custom made furniture for the apartment and not even fully utilized it b4 I left.

Benefits: Learn to pack and unpack stuff.

Lessons: Never commit to a property again unless I wants to retired, buy a RV in future.

My Roller Coaster Career:

The Outbreak : leave my 3 yrs medical sales job and go after a whole know nothing sales job at an European oil and gas company. Leave the European company and went back to my sales job with an American company. Sounds like a roller coaster career life cycle.

Benefits: First time ever wear boots n helmet to work, feel as sexy as puah chu kang when visit the oil n gas platform. Never been sexier..

Learns lots of head cracking gas facts. Cant get it strait, must b the toxic gas damage my brain.

Learned that European boss r the best, they are well manners and good looking.

Fist time ever worked with American boss with nipple piercing.Learned that American boss are very interesting..they talks about everything from personal life to dosmetic life..

Drawbacks : Clueless about the oil and gas industry, kind of regret not doing chemist subject in school. Never get used to wear boots to work, still thinks heels r sexier.

Lessons : U never try u never know, I am glad I tried to launch a new career though it fails.No regret. Glad that i make some good friends from those new jobs.

Fun Facts : Its a life experience to get to wear boots to work and going to where only the males dominate work force. Best of all, I am glad to break through from my career path.

My Passions:

The outbreaks : trade in my Bmw for a smart for two.

The drawbacks : Only drive it for 5 months.

Worst still : bought a full car accessories of hello kitty fr bangkok but never been able to get my ass to sit on the kitty face.

Fun Facts : its a hot looking car, its a chick-magnet.

Lesson: Rent a car next time.

My Love life:

The outbreaks : Run away with my lover to US

The drawbacks : we become like domestic partner since we arrive US, very unsexy .

Fun Facts : We thinks the same , speaks the same and argue the same things.

Lessons: relationships is very complex, domestic works sucks.

My Friendship :

The Outbreaks : Despite i had moved few places, my friendship with my buddy sok fun still remain close. Despite the age gap of me and fred, we still remain best crime scene partner. It is nice to catch hold of some old memories with some ex-schoolmates.

The drawbacks : being away from all my best buddies is heart breaking. Some ex-schoolmate got married n have kids, came to self realizations I am still party hard.

Fun facts : Lots of gossips and booty shaking with girls.

Lessons : Friendships is never about age or geographical, its the hearts that counts. I am very glad to b able to make some new friends, catch up with some old friends and stay on with special friends.

My Family:

The outbreak : Mum finally let go of baby sitting my sis who turn 21 soon but still very uptight .Sister finally join the work force and be independent soon. Finally the bird free from the cage.

The drawbacks : Relationships with dad still very bad, no improvement..we still dont speak much.

Lesson : Being away has actually brings my relationship with mum closer. Absent makes the heart grow founder.

Overall of 2007 : A very good year indeed , I m blessed with love, friendship and passions.

Quote of the year : When u believe, it will happened. I Believe in myself n in others.

Next year resolutions : Nope , I still stick to the same quote as live life as it goes…boogy like no one is watching, eat like pig, shag like love birds and always have old memories but young hopes. Most of all, hoping to travel more next yr, can’t wait to party at vegas and heading home to malaysia for more sun and love.

Romantic X’mas.. December 27, 2007

 

It is a special xmas indeed coz’ while I m blogging now, it is snowing out there. Oh! I feel romantic and special. Though I have seen snow in korea few yrs back but I feel  this time is more beautiful b’coz it is Xmas. I am still in my Xmas spirit though Xmas end yesterday. Usually I will put up my Xmas tree on dec and leave it till March. This year I got myself a 5′5 feet white color Xmas tree, it is my first white color xmas tree. Why do I love Xmas so much, besides the beautiful Xmas tree, I love the parts where I get presents and I gave out presents. Not ot mention Xmas sale is everywhere.$$$$

Xmas is always beautiful. If u ask how different is christmas in US and in msia, I would say not much different except u might see snow here if u r lucky and most of the houses here r decorated with beautiful lights . I remembered I celebrated Xmas in Hong Kong before, it was a blast too. The hongkies love Xmas so much that they gather and count it down as though it was New Year. Most of the time, I spend Xmas at other countries b’coz it was always the best time of year to travel .Well after celebrated Xmas in so many different countries, the best Xmas I had is in malaysia .Back then, I love the fireworks blast out of my apartment balcony during xmas . I was very fortunate as my apartment was over looking the KL view. On special ocassions, my buddy sok fun and me would had some wine and enjoyed the fireworks sessions. Oh it was a unforgetable time of my life.

Somehow this xmas is more special as this is my first xmas in the states . Besides Xmas, 25^th is also Alex’s bday. Yeah he is a fat santa boy that sent from heaven. So, I got him this delicious goldiva cheese cake which is fattening for everyone . We went to Grace’s home for Xmas dinner. Nothing fancy just a get together nite. It was not so much of the kind of party that I used to have, this is more of a family dinner kind of thing. As for me, I used to have Xmas party fills with drinks and shot games back then. I must said I love it better in msia when sok fun and me used to prepare tequila shots for xmas shots. Everyone would b fairly drunk by the end of party, I still remembered that her mum would pop the sparkling wine at the balcony and shout out merry xmas to the whole apartment plp. It was a crazy wild party back then but that was the best xmas I had. This year is not bad though b’coz I got a special gift from my love. It was a beautiful coach bag, I just love it and I love the fact that every xmas he bought me bag , he is my soulmate. He knows I am a bag fetish.

X’mas @ Big Apple City December 14, 2007

current mood : romantic and excited as Christmas is around the corner..

Back in my crazy days, I watched many tv series took place at Big Apple City New York included Sex and City. As I watched Carrie Bradshaw doing her shopping at 5th Avenue and taking a break at Central Park, i wish i could b doing the same as her someday and I never thought these days would comes true.

Last weekend, Alex and I spend couples of days at New York. We went shopping from Soho to 5th Avenue and visited a few parks too. I love Bryant Park the most as the ice rink was beautifully set up plus they have those cute little shops selling handycraft. It is unfortunate that we do not have enough time to skate.I hope next time i would be able to ice skating there as i have never skate at an outdoor ice rink before.

My perceptions towards New York is a very busy and hectic city, whenever we went there is always traffic jam. Kind of remind me of Kuala Lumpur except the air is fresher and the architectural of the buildings are more outstanding. I think i prefer to stay in my current retirement town than stuck in traffic daily in this buzy city . Well but who knows mayb when time goes by I might probably change my mind..as u know women r known for fickles minded..

The Christmas deco’ at Rockefeller are breath taking , I love the huge Christmas trees and the beautiful lights. We visited St.Patrick’s Church and this is one of the most beautiful church I ever been. The architectural reflects the beauty and peace of the Church. Many celebrities get married at this church included our own Asian star Chow Yun Fatt. Imagine how lucky he is coz’ every pics taken there would look like a fairy tales stories…aww..

I hope I will visit New York again as I wish to go to see Niagara Falls. At this moment, I guess I am finally taking a step back in life to explore the beauty of the world. This Christmas I am grateful that I am able to experience the Xmas holiday in NY.
