Life’s full of surprises.. January 30, 2008

Last weekend was great. Alex and I had dinner together with some friends at Cozymeals Mexican restaurant. The margaritas were awesome. They served this rainbow color margaritas with five different flavors. Not to mention the desserts r sinfully delicious, it cames with five sampler and the banana pudding was the best.;)

After the dinner, we joined Ecka and Lamont to Electric Cowboy club. The musics wasn’t as good as the previous nite but we had a good time doing line dance. We called it an early nite as lamont needs to work the next day.

This week I did some lab pratical which involved getting the vital signs and injections. My heart was pumping hard when i did the injections however i managed to overcome my fear. I remembered when I was doing medical sales , I never even want to watch wether the docs gave jects or the patients received injections. Well , I guess life’s full of surprises , never thought these days I had to do jects. Good things are I am still learning everyday..

Heavy Snow .. January 25, 2008

Today classes were canceled due to the heavy snow. I haven’t seen any snow at my front balcony yet maybe the road has been freezing by ice. So yahoo no school today but kind of missing my classes.

I learned a lot though this was my first week to college. The class size was just right and the lecturer discussed on what to expect on the coming weeks. I am glad that my classmates are fun , they never bored me as they talks a lot. There r lots of different between american students and malaysian students . Basically malaysian are very shy people and they dont speaks much .Well back then , I am a quiet and timid mouse too but I guess after few years of dealing with customers in medical sales, these days I talked and biatch a lot . Indeed these days i enjoy talking to people as it helps me to get a better understanding of life’s.

Anyway I can foresee the difficulties I would had in future as the books r as thick as the phone books and the medical terminology r going to kills me. As I m the only Asian in the class, I guess no one had language problem except me. I was struggled to pick up everything the lecturers said. The lab class was intensive as we had a quota of injections to do. However I try to bear in mind to enjoy the journey as it goes, so this weekend I plan to have mexican foods with Lamont, Ecka and the rest. Next Week I plan to have dinner with Casey my classmate.

I thought I had been most of clubs in little rock but last weekend came into surprised. Alex and I joined Lamont and Ecka to a new club “On the rock club” which we never been. The club was strangely hidden at the back of a bar but they played pretty good hip-hop musics. We danced and talked all nite long. Ecka and me hit off immediately as we shared something in common. We both consider visitors here as ecka was fr Europe and we both love to dance. The night end shortly after the last call, we called it a nite. We suppose to meet up on sun day for another salsa lesson but then Lamont was at work and Alex was still hangover from last nite so, we called it off. Anyway there is always another party out time.

Hot Salsa Nite.. January 18, 2008

Do u dance?  I love to dance coz’ dancing helps me to express myself. Few yrs ago, I learned to do some ballroom dance. However I forgotten all the steps and the only dance I could do now is boogy in free-style. So for a refresh session, last wed Alex and I went to check out the salsa dance at Rumba mexican-cuba musics room. On that nite I was expected to see some hot latinos or hot latinas but it turns out none. Well but at least the instructor was kind of cute but the crowds age was a bit over the hill. LOL. I was expected to see some young n hippies group like those in the “shall we dance ?” movie.

They have a pretty good dance floor , a romantic setting bar and a tastefully decorated dinning area. We had some light foods.Why did I said light foods coz’ the foods portions r dam tiny. I had a pork tenderloin in a citrus mango marinade and alex had a surf turf which is a grilled steak with rum portabella mushroom.The menu sounds exotic n ineteresting but it turns out just average. The foods wasn’t that impressive but the mango margaritas were very good. Overall it is a definitely good place to hang out but bad choice for pick up or ease the hunger.

    It is brand new year and it is a new funky sexy beginning. So , I redesign my blog interface and I redesign my hairstyle to funkier style.They said if u are dare to change your hairstyle it means u are dare to take risk. I guess I am always a risk taker. I had done plenty of different hairstyle over the past years, some I am not very proud of it . I got a new hairstyle this time with new color and new style, my stylist dye it copper brown. My initial plan is to b blonde as I think blonde has more fun. However my stylist said I cant go for blonde unless I bleech it. Nah, I dont want more damage to my hair so copper brown is fine with me too.

Mayb when summer arrive I can be blonde and get myself some fake tan too..

I think there r so much to be done to feel prettier. There is this reality show on air “how to look good naked? “I personally like it coz’ it helps big women to gain self confident to feel beautiful n hot, I highly recomended this show to b air in Asian Country as many asians still thinks being big is not hot and that is so not true , ..isnt it wonderful to get a makeover that will will change your perceptions towards life?..to feel comfortable to be who u are..

This weekend I had done couples of new things just to spice up my life’s, so i went to the comedy bar which i laughed my ass out which i never thought in life i would go to a comedy bar . Then, i had seafood at Red lobster but i dont quite fancy it as i m more of a  meat lover. However they serve pretty good cocktail i love the bahama-mama it is strong yet sweet..,

 Next day I had German foods which the sausages are huge but I guess big doesnt means it is tasty..lol..but the German Fat Tire beer is definitely awesome..

Lesson of the day : A good hairstyle will cheer up any day

Dance to a new journey… January 7, 2008

 

All the holidae and parties had passed by. I had a blast on new yr eye countdown at electric cowboy, I danced away the night as though it was the last dance of my life.

 On new year day, I had a good time ice skating at outdoor . I have never ice skating outdoor and it had been a fun n memorable experience.After all the fun I had now I have to get back to reality life. Next week is my first week at the uni, kind of feeling nervous.

Recently I read some blogs and I came to know many would wish to getaway to a new place for new adventure, leave the old sick jobs or leave everything behind and travel..oh yeah I used to have that kind of wishes too however this year I wish I would b back in my country soon n get back to my old job soon…the consistent moving n traveling had actually leave me exhausted..
 Nothing cheer me up more than received a package and letters from malaysia yesterday. The package was from my long time girlfriend, she just know how to cheer up my day. It was a teddy with a hot balloon and I love it so much. She is definitely a friend that sent from heaven but we r definitely one hell of partner in crime. The passion I share with her would never die. The other letter was from mr lee , he was my ex-colleagues in my previous company. Though we only have been working together for less than 3 months and though we have a huge age gap but we enjoy talking to each other. The other mail was from my hot chick girlfriend ah ling, I known her from her salon, she used to style my hair like doll. Despite I m far away but I m very grateful to have found true friends along the way. I love u all. Absent has makes the heart grow founder. I miss all of u in malaysia.
